Wendy Lewis, Audit Partner at KPMG

Wendy Lewis is an audit Partner in KPMG’s commercial audit practice. She has over 20 years of experience providing professional audit services to companies in the not-for-profit, higher education, and commercial/industrial markets industries. Wendy has served Fortune 500 public companies as well as some of the largest and most prestigious not-for-profit organizations.
Wendy completed a 3-year rotation in KPMG’s National Office in New York where she provided assistance in technical accounting, financial reporting and risk management matters to KPMG local offices across the country. She participates in several speaking engagements to clients and non-clients regarding new and emerging accounting issues and developments. She is a campus recruiting Partner for KPMG helping to bring in some of the best and brightest talents to the firm. Additionally, she is a member of KPMG’s African American Network Advisory Board whose mission is to help recruit, retain and advance the African American professional in the firm.
Wendy is a graduate of Virginia Union University where she majored in Accounting. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Virginia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Wendy is a past local chapter president of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science.
