Career exploration organization Roadtrip Nation is offering an experience fueled by Discover Audit that will send people interested in accounting and auditing on a three-week adventure to interview auditing professionals and discover what this career has to offer.
Filmed for the Roadtrip Nation public television series, this experience will introduce a diverse group of people—and TV audiences—to the wide range of paths in auditing and accounting while also working to dispel some of the common stereotypes tied to these careers. Selected participants will get a chance to sit down and talk to auditing professionals at all stages of their careers and get the advice needed to blaze their own career paths.

1. WHO CAN APPLY?
This incredible experience is available to students age 18 to 25 who are majoring in accounting, finance, or considering a pathway in the world of audit. Auditing combines all sorts of interests, so if you’re dual majoring in an audit-related field and something else, even better!
2. WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT LIKE?
Applicants must be available to commit to travel for up to three weeks in August. If chosen, you’ll travel in a Roadtrip Nation RV to meet professionals in auditing, as well as those who got their start in the profession.
3. I HAVE AN INTERNSHIP IN AUDIT THIS SUMMER DOES THAT MEAN I CAN’T APPLY?
Because we don’t want any enthusiastic future auditors to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity, we will do our best to work with your schedule and previous commitments like potential internships or another exciting opportunity in audit. So don’t let that stop you from applying!
4. WHAT EXACTLY WILL I BE DOING?
Individuals who are chosen for the roadtrip will help plan the trip, by doing research and booking interviews alongside the Roadtrip Nation team. Also, since this is for a documentary, you’ll be filmed and the footage may be shared on public television and other video platforms.
5. I KNOW YOU SAY ITS FREE, BUT HOW MUCH WILL THIS ACTUALLY COST ME?
Nothing, this trip is 100% free to you! All travel expenses, plus a daily stipend, are paid for by Roadtrip Nation.
